Approach: Shaylee’s approach is rooted in deep listening — to the body, to the breath, and to the stories we carry. With training as a social worker and therapist, she brings a strong foundation in Western therapeutic modalities while remaining committed to examining and reimagining practices shaped by harmful histories. Her work honors both evidence-based care and the ancient, steady wisdom of Ayurveda, weaving them together in a way that supports healing from the inside out.
Guided by curiosity and compassion, Shaylee invites clients to slow down, notice what is present, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that have long been asking for attention. She believes healing unfolds most naturally when we feel safe, seen, and empowered in our own process. Through this integrative lens, blending modern therapy, mind-body psychology, and timeless holistic traditions, Shaylee supports clients in cultivating balance, deepening self-awareness, and returning to their most authentic inner knowing.
Her intention is to walk beside you as you rediscover your innate wisdom, creating space for gentleness, resilience, and meaningful transformation.
Services: Shaylee offers her services through secure Telehealth to residents of Oregon and Washington, creating accessible and compassionate care no matter where you are. Alongside one-on-one Ayurvedic-Informed Wellness Coaching and mental health therapy, she facilitates individual breathwork sessions to support emotional release and nervous system regulation. She also hosts community-based healing events that invite connection, reflection, and collective restoration. In her role as a mentor, Shaylee provides clinical supervision to CSWAs in Oregon, offering grounded guidance informed by both experience and heart.
Her work is rooted in a trauma-informed, whole-person perspective, honoring the complexity of each individual’s story. Sessions are carefully tailored to the needs of adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and life’s many transitions. Through a blend of emotional insight, somatic awareness, and holistic tools, Shaylee creates a gentle space where balance can be restored, resilience can grow, and inner clarity can emerge.
Education: Shaylee completed her master’s degree at Portland State University in 2014 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2018. A dedicated yoga student since 2015, she continues to deepen her practice through mentorship and immersive study, drawing on Ayurvedic wisdom. She completed her coaching certification through AyurPrana, grounded in the teachings of Dr. Vasant Lad. In addition, she has completed a one-year training in Compassionate Inquiry based on Dr. Gabor Maté’s work and continues to engage with the material through volunteer involvement. Shaylee is also trained in EMDR and is a certified EMDR therapist. She now integrates these holistic and evidence-based modalities into her work through personalized coaching, helping others cultivate mindfulness, embodiment, and well-being. Her professional experience as a social worker spans a variety of settings and communities, reflecting her deep commitment to compassionate, client-centered care.
